Matuma Letsoalo – Executive Chairman

Matuma, Executive Chairman of Inside Education Foundation (trading as Solwazi Institute), has led impactful initiatives like the 100 South African Shining Stars and African Science and Technology Teachers Awards. He received top accolades including CNN African Journalist of the Year (2004) and Vodacom Journalist of the Year, and collaborated with South Africa’s Department of Basic Education to produce a national education publication.

Matuma holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Wits Business School (2023), a National Diploma in Journalism from Tshwane University of Technology, and pursued an Honours Degree in Journalism/Media Studies at Wits. He is currently studying for an MBA at Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria, and is respected for his strategic vision, media innovation, and commitment to education and youth empowerment.

Sibonginkosi Saruchera (PhD) – Head of Solwazi Institute

Sibonginkosi heads Inside Education Foundation t/a Solwazi Institute. She holds a Doctorate in Human Resource Management (CPUT), a Master of Science in Human Resource Management (GZU), a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations (ZOU), and a Diploma in Education (UZ), and is a registered SABPP member. With over 5 years in higher education and HR, her expertise spans strategic HRM, employee well-being, HR policy, and the future of work in Africa.

She has published on informal HR practices in private tertiary institutions and leads Solwazi Institute to foster academic excellence, professional relevance, and innovative learning pathways. Her published research and work includes:

Faith Murumbi – Special Projects Manager
